ABOUT RIPPLE TRAININGrip·ple: to cause to form small waves or undulations. Ripple Training was created in August of 2002 by Apple-Certified trainer and educator Steve Martin. Since it’s launch, Ripple Training has had but one mission: to host the best, most informative, and outright coolest tips and tutorials in the known universe. So why Ripple? Ripple is a word that characterizes both motion and effect. The ripple began in April of 1999 when Apple released Final Cut Pro and changed forever the way desktop post production would be approached by both editor and producer alike. In April of 2003 Apple dropped another massive stone in the post-production pond by simultaneously announcing Final Cut Pro 4, DVD Studio Pro 2, and Shake 3. Clearly, Apple is determined to continue the reverberations it started with Final Cut Pro by offering professionals fully integrated hardware and sofware solutions that would meet the rigorous demands of today’s post-production environments. Ripple Training’s mission is therefore to provide timely and useful online and offline training materials that will help our clients get the most out of Apple’s next-generation tools.
