Welcome to Ripple Training’s first tutorial on Apple’s Motion. While deceptively simple on it’s face, Motion is nevertheless a motion graphics powerhouse capable of the kinds of treatments you see in commerials, show opens, bumpers and movie trailers.
With Apple’s release of Motion we have finally been liberated from the tyranny of keyframing and endless rendering. This 20 minute tutorial you will walk you through Motion’s “playground” as well as show you how to create a simple opening title treatment you can easily add to your Final Cut Pro timeline.
This tutorial downloads with a full-res dv file you can use to follow along in your own copy of Motion. For those of you with slower connections, we will be offering a CD version soon.
