PULLING STILLS FROM MPEG STREAMSPulling Stills from MPEG Streams 1. Begin by placing your playhead directly over the frame you want to pull a still from in the track editor.
2. Press M on your keyboard to set a marker.
3. Make sure the marker is selected (dark purple) and loaded in the inspector. By default, when markers are created in DVD Studio pro they begin life as Chapter markers. Uncheck the Chapter checkbox if you do not want this marker to function as chapter marker.
The marker will turn green in the track editor indicating it is now a cell marker.
4. Back to the inspector. Click the “Save Still” button. The still is saved in the .tiff format.
5. A Dialogue will pop up prompting you to save your still.
6. Import the asset you just saved.
7. Drag the Still into the Menu editor and use as a menu background.
