I’ve been a member for a while now; you have some clever and well designed templates. I have recently come across what appears to be a bug in motion effecting your templates, and wondered if you had any ideas for a workaround or fix.
Try this: put an adjustment layer (i.e. an title containing only a Title Background Element) over a clip and create a compound clip of the two. Now, in another title or effect that uses a drop zone, specify that compound clip as the source for the drop zone. Only the upper-right quadrant of the compound clip will be visible in the drop zones’ area. In contrast, if you use a title which does not contain a Title Background element in that compound clip, the entire compound clip is visible in the drop zone, as you’d expect. The issue is caused by the presence of the Title Background element in the adjustment layer. I can not find any settings to apply to the Title Background element to prevent this.
Any suggestions you have would be welcome.
