I am recording a teacher in a classroom. I have the teacher wearing a lavalier microphone on the left channel and a boom microphone on the right to capture the students. I want to adjust the volume of each channel separately and then remix to mono. Just adjusting the pan does not solve the problem because sometimes I need to boost or reduce the teacher level and the classroom level
Right now, my workflow is to detach the stereo audio. Then I duplicate the audio, pan one track to the left and other to the right. Then I make a compound clip of the two audio track and then set the audio configuration to dual mono.
Is there a way to adjust the left/right audio without having to duplicate the audio track?
