I’d love to dive deeper into keying techniques. This was very helpful and definitely improved my results, but especially in dealing with tricky subjects (frizzy hair, etc) I’m having a hard time getting results I’m happy passing on to a client — I know there are some advanced techniques out there, but I’ve had a hard time wrapping my head around how to incorporate those techniques into Fusion. So would definitely love a deep dive into this world, as in the COVID and even post-COVID world I expect to be doing a lot more green screen work.

In the meantime, if anyone has any great resources on this front, please post them here!

    Thanks!

Usually you break your shot down into multiple keys for each different difficult section to deal with them independently.

Thanks, Mark. Would love to see a course on advanced keying techniques like you’ve described above – my Fusion compositing is much better thanks to this course but still has a long way to go!
