I try to get a line between two manually animated objects.
For that, I mainly followed the instructions found in “MacBreak Studio: Episode 238 – Tracking Points in Motion” and in general it is working quite fine. In the video, it was mentioned that it will only work with rotation and scale, but not for manually animated position. Despite this, it is working for me for one of the two images, but as soon as I animate the second one it fails.

    I did:

    • added two images to the canvas and draw a line between them
    • added two Track Point behaviors to the line, assigned one image to each of them, and make sure that only the endpoint of the line related to the image is used for the behavior

I can move above objects in the canvas and the line stays attached to both of them. When I animated the position of one object via keyframes, it is still working. But as soon as I also animate the second image, the connection to the first image got lost.

Is there any workaround for this, or any other way to achieve this?

It’s a bug I have found the same issue. I don’t know of a workaround.
