Create Fast Edit Turnarounds
DaVinci Resolve 16.1 Core Training will guide you through Resolve’s complete post production workflow from initial media import to final delivery and everything in between. You’ll begin your journey by diving into the ground-breaking Cut Page to create a fast clip assembly, then trim and perform an multicam edit using the new Sync Bin feature.
Color Grade Like a Pro
At the heart of the DaVinci experience is the Color Page where you’ll learn how to evaluate an image using scopes before performing primary corrections with Lift, Gamma and Gain controls and Resolve’s Custom Curves. You’ll then move on to performing targeted color corrections using Qualifiers and Power Windows and learn the proper application of LUTs to give your shots a stylized look.
Sound Edit & Mix in the Fairlight Page
Moving into to the Fairlight page, you’ll learn how to properly organize a mix and perform basic sound editing tasks such as cleaning up dialogue, perform audio repairs, and employ Fairlight’s unique method for copying and pasting audio clips to other tracks in the timeline. Additionally, you’ll learn how to record voice over, create submixes, and record fade automation data using the Mixer.
Create Motion Graphics in the Fusion Page
Fusion is a node-based compositing tool built right into Resolve 16. You’ll learn how to set up multiple trackers for stabilizing a shot and how to clone out unwanted elements in the frame. Once you are comfortable in Fusion’s nodal compositing environment, you’ll learn how to animate a title then track it to a moving object using another shot from your timeline.

Brilliant course! The course material was presented in a logical way, and always promised to teach more with every coming video. I regularly use DaVinci Resolve to create YouTube videos, school videos, and marketing videos for a non-profit. Taking the time to learn the course material and get certified gave me access to a much more efficient work ethic, something that I am extremely grateful for! Projects that used to take days now only take me a few hours, and the Fusion page is a whole lot less intimidating than it was before. The trainers are also great, and the example projects were actually very interesting.
If you’re looking to kickstart your career in video editing, or are simply trying to learn a new skill, whether for work or hobby, this course is worth every penny. Thanks for making this, it was worth every penny! Definitely going to recommend this!
I also recommend to take the final exam to get certified, as it helps out a lot.

I am very pleased with the Ripple tutorials so far, I finished DaVinci Resolve 16.1 Core Training and took my certification test and passed!
I took other lessons before but the Ripple tutorial was the one that helped me the most.

I stumbled upon on Ripple Training from my research yesterday when I was looking for a real quality training for Davinci Resolve. After comparing some other online training I decided to go with Ripple Training because of two reasons First My intuition told me this is a quality training, second I watched Steve’s Video on Preview of this course and I could see the genuineness in that video. Oh my God, I have only watched one hour of video and followed the project with Steve, This is Gold. Steve is very very to the point, knowledgable, and has great expertise, the way he is teaching is top-notch. I am thanking myself that I took the right decision by purchasing this course. Thumbs up for ripple training. I will recommend Ripple Training to everyone who is looking to learn any Editing Software.
With Thanks,
Mohit

Just silliness!
I admit I was expecting the usual boring talking head like on YouTube, or just hands pointing and clicking on the screen; a voice throwing out a few keyboard commands while trudging the way through the lessons. I was pleasantly surprised by the mockumentary we got instead. I was smirking, raising an eyebrow, and chuckling just a bit when our expert alien and ghost hunter so seriously delivered a very somber and ominous education about how Nelson Nevada “is also the epicenter for alien and ghost activity”.
These videos taught me all about Resolve but did not limit my education to just that: (I honestly did not know what a big deal Nelson Nevada was). Thanks for throwing in a little creativity! The hint to humor was just subtle enough; that made it even funnier. A very clever way to liven up a ghost town, especially when limited to only a single host delivering a narrative.
My only disappointment was I was hoping that trackers would be attached to the Mickey Mouse logo on the cap and Disneyland wording on the sweatshirt: Blur effects, to hide those logos. It appears our science & history expert had just returned from the Magic Kingdom. I am sure the original plan was to hide that fact with Blur effects, but the change in footage and the way in which the Blur effects were eventually used was every bit as interesting and entertaining. Overall, this was an interesting set of videos. I learned a lot and these prepared me very well for the Resolve End User exam, which I passed soon after following along here.

Extremely satisfied! Course and lessons are structured very well. Clear and easy to understand and follow.
I am a colourist, and I decided to buy this DaVinci Resolve tutorial even if I use the software on a daily basis. I did it mainly because I think there is always something new to learn, in particular with the new 16.1 update. Moreover, it seemed the perfect time to study and keep myself busy, during these days spent in quarantine.
Anyway, I was really impressed by the quality of the course and I highly recommend it.
Many thanks to RippleTraining and Steve Martin for this tutorial!

I’m always extremely hesitant to spend money on courses and things because I never know whether or not I’m going to get the value I need out of it. However, I continually get value out of Ripple’s courses and have referred them to my family and friends.
Dealing with customer service is actually pleasurable and knowing that they care about user satisfaction is a massive plus overall.
The content is clear and concise without feeling overwhelming. Following along and practising with the lessons made me feel much more confident in my ability to use Resolve as my primary NLE

A complete tutorial of Davinci 16.1 covering all the pages from start to finish, profesionally put together and well laid out.
Easy to follow along with all the project media, I learnt so much from this!
I had to contact support at the beginning and the response was lightning fast and helpful.
In my opinion Ripple Training is the best out there and great value!

You just can’t get this quality of content from the amateurs on YouTube.
Davince Resolve may be free, but it’s not worth much without the knowledge provided by this tutorial.
While editing in Resolve, I keep this tutorial active on a second screen and use it as a reference as I work.

In my opinion, Ripple Training is the best online post-production training available. Purchasing the training is easy, and the course delivery player is excellent. Both Steve Martin and Mark Spencer are exceptional trainers, they clearly demonstrate how to get the most out of the software they are teaching.
The new Resolve 16.1. Training is no exception. Steve provides an overview of the complete interface, in a way that lets you branch out and continue to learn on your own. I use Resolve for color and now will work on using Fusion for graphics and compositing and Fairlight for audio mix. The course makes it easy to revisit any section, I will go to the section on tracking a graphic over video when I need it.
On top of all this Steve and Mark have a YouTube channel with free software quick tips that go back several years.
Thanks, James H.

Excellent! Easily the most well-designed and polished Davinci course that you are going to find.
I love Davinci but outside of the Ripple courses, the education element is pretty damn horrid..which IS sad! But this course blows anything else out there out of the water. I also found it to be (even out of the other Ripple Davinci courses) the most well thought out as far as order of instruction. I really love how they balance the general concepts of editing with the software features.
This course isn’t a paraphrased manual.
All in all, i’m really impressed with this 16.1 course, and it’s obvious someone really thought long and hard about how to make every second count and deliver maximum value in a reasonable time. What keeps me a ripple customer is that these guys are real people who care about what they put out there, which is so rare these days and a breath of fresh air.
Thanks for delivering another high quality product and setting up folks for success!!
