The Last LAFCPUG Meet – 25 Years of History
Recorded Live at the June 2025 Lacpug Meet
“The last Lacpug Meet”
After twenty five years, Steve Martin and I bid a fond farewell to Lacpug, and show and tell about its origins going back to June 2000. We highlight as much as time allows, from early Final Cut Pro until today. And there are some fun highlights as well as a few emotional moments. How could there not be.
We are joined by editor Trevor Horton who created a tribute reel for Michael Horton’s 2019 LifeTime Achievement Award given to him in Las Vegas at the Faster Together event. Trevor felt it appropriate to show the reel again at this, the final Lacpug Meet.
We also gave the microphone to some in the audience to share their memories.
It was a wonderful night.
