Let AI Find Your B-Roll in Final Cut Pro
In this video, I used ChatGPT to select B-roll based on what’s said in an interview, then adds it to the Final Cut Pro timeline as connected clips. No plugins and no generative AI.
I also show you how it finds clips on your own drives using a free app called Dig Up, and how it uses markers to flag the shots you still need.
Using AI as your assistant editor isn’t about replacing people. It isn’t always perfect or faster, but it can take on the mechanical work while you do something else. It still takes a person to make the choices that make a project beautiful.
