When using the multicam feature in Final Cut with both 4K and 1080p clips, the angle viewer shows the full dimension of the 4K clips but the main viewer crops the 4K clips so that only a small portion is showing, as shown in the attached image.  I’m guessing it is somehow scaling it to conform to 1080p dimensions, but is there a way to see the full dimensions of the 4K clips?

Inside your multicam (assuming its 1080) select the Angle with the 4K and set Spatial Conform to Fit to see the whole 4K. Then you can scale up/down to suit.

The easiest solution would probably be to jump inside of the Multicam clip and scale down the 4K angle. If you scale it down inside the Multicam clip, that change will be reflected in every instance of the angle during editing.
