Introducing RT Clean Titles
RT Clean Titles is a set of 36 clean, simple, and highly customizable animated title templates for Final Cut Pro, organized into five categories: 6 Lower Thirds, 5 Quotes, 8 Openers, 7 Framed, and 10 Titles. Change the text, font, size, and color in the Text inspector, drag any line of text right in the Viewer, and use the Transform tool to move and scale the whole title at once.
Each title also has its own controls in the Title inspector, such as plate and accent colors, corner roundness, and scale, plus a drop shadow and an optional background that keep your text readable over bright or busy footage. Working in a vertical project? Every title rescales itself to fit the 9:16 frame.

Adding and Customizing Titles
Find RT Clean Titles in the Titles and Generators sidebar, skim any thumbnail to preview its animation, and press Q to connect it to your clip. Turn off the Build In or Build Out animation in the Title inspector, double-click to replace the text, and change the font, size, and color. Drag the main text to move the whole title, or drag any line on its own.
Resetting Text Positions
Every line of text has its own position control in the Title inspector. If you’ve moved a line and want it back where it started, choose Reset Parameter from that control’s pop-up menu. To move and scale the whole title together, press Shift-T for the Transform tool.
Using Shadows and Backgrounds
When your text is hard to read against a bright shot, raise the Shadow Opacity from its default of 0% and adjust the blur and distance. Or turn on Show Background: use it as a solid color card, or lower its opacity to darken the shot behind the title. The background fades in and out with the title automatically.
Using Vertical Layouts
Editing for social media? In a vertical project, every RT Clean Title scales itself to fit the 9:16 frame, so the titles you use in widescreen work in vertical too, with no manual adjustment.
