In the first few lessons, Mark will have you using Pixelmator Pro’s extensive library of shape objects and versatile drawing tools to create resolution-independent design elements and combine them in ways that you can’t using Motion alone.
Design in Pixelmator Pro, Animate in Motion
Pixelmator Pro makes it easy to create unique compositions with vector shapes and text. Once imported into Motion, Mark will walk you through his creative process for bringing all the Pixelmator Pro design elements to life using replicators, behaviors and keyframes.
Convert Any Image into Vectors
Logos, artwork and illustrations are often provided in a format that does not include editable layers. In this tutorial, Mark will introduce you to some important tools and workflows for vectorizing your assets so that they are both editibale and infinitely scalable.
Vectorize and Animate Sketches
In the final lesson, you will learn that you are not limited to working with simple shapes and illustrations. Mark will walk you through his process of bringing a sketch into Pixelmator Pro to prepare it for export to Motion, where the vectorized artwork can yield some exciting design and animation possibilities.
